I am a writer/storyteller by trade, and have been told by numerous confidants that I need to start doing it again, so I will do so. Several ideas are swirling around in my mind, everything ranging from a vampire/Van Helsing esque piece to a mob story are there. I know I am delaing with a wide range of content, but that is due to my complex nature and active imagination. Plus I am trying to get certified to fix computers, so my plate is quite full. I need to get my butt in gear and try to write at least 500-600 words a day to finish in a timely manner. I definitely will keep people posted.

Let's Talk Psychology
I have studied human psychology to an extent and have come to the conclusion that I hate crowds, and I mean a deep loathing. Basically, besides the feeling of being swallowed up which I hate, crowds exponentiate the normal idiocy the average individual posesses. For example, in the place I work there is a tendency for people to build into mobs to get to the counter to place an order, and that does not follow a rationale at all. I mean really, why just go somewhere to be behind someone for a long time staring at someone's ass, and on top of that KNOWING that this will be the case just further makes this phenomenon more nonsensical. Another example could be found in rock concerts, church meetings, and other venues where a person on stage could scream throw piss at the person next to you and the mob would do so. It is also documented that if an emergency occurs in a crowd then you better be scared, because the mob feels a "displaced responsibility" so each person feels that next person will take care of what needs to be taken care of resulting in nothing being done. Last but not least, it is usually to the cheer of mobs which societies are broken down and freedom taken, look at Nazi Germany. In all, I cannot get why people get into crowds.

Daniel Sommers, an Iraqi war veteran, who has taken his life recently highlights the dark side of the perpetual policing of the globe our country undertakes. Why are we still policing the world when good men like Mr.Sommers has their lives taken either in battle or by the post trauma that comes from being in the battlefield. We have spent 87.2 billion dollars in the past year on overseas expenditures enacted for the defense budget and billions of countless dollars on
"foreign aid" like giving tanks, bombs, and weapons to the Islamic extremists. When will the cost of life and dollars justify the imperialistic policies of the country? Why are we fighting to "promote democracy" when all it happens to be is a chance for transnational corporations to spread their business eggs? Why are we fighting for oil companies and defense contract companies? All I am doing is asking questions that every critical thinking person should be asking, and that is all. When will we the people have enough of the military industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned us of nearly five decades ago?

Victory for Freedom in Egypt

"A crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood movement got underway in Egypt on Thursday with the arrest of several leading members following the military overthrow of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi and his replacement by a top judge..."
There is a victory for the people of Egypt who have ousted Morsi, an Islamist dictator, in favor of a temporal military government to oversee the installation of a new government. The Muslim Brotherhood is bad news for Egypt and the rest of the world as they are nothing but a group of religious fanatics who wish to see the installation of Sharia law everywhere, including here in the US. These throwbacks instituted mobile virginity checkpoints where young girls would be dragged into vans to see if their hymens had been broken, and if they had been, then punishments of lashings and even death by stoning could ensue. The procedure to check for virginity is incredibly flawed as the hymen can be broken just by stretching certain ways. There were also rumors of Christians being crucified by these monsters,, and I can only hope those were false. In all, there is a new day for Egypt where freedom and democracy can hopefully be instituted where people's of all creeds can be respected.

Trayvon Martin

ZIMMERMAN TRIAL
The episode of Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman has brought out the ugliest parts of America by dividing the people along racial lines, showing that the tribal nature of humanity is far from going away. The flames were fanned by the President who said that his son would look like Trayvon, and by the likes of Al Sharpton, who makes a living off of racial division. It also has not been helped by so called conservatives and white Americans who wanted Trayvon shot just because he was a young black male, adding more fervor to what was already there. The truth to me is this, and that is Zimmerman thought he'd play Clint Eastwood and then Martin retaliated when he was being pursued. Now, if I was in Zimmerman's shoes, I would have shot Trayvon. I know what it is like to jumped by a gang of thugs, and if I had a gun on me that night,I would be on the news. I think Zimmerman legitimately defended himself, alebit being in the wrong for pursuing Martin in the first place. Only a jury who gets ALL THE FACTS can determine if a crime occurred.

The fact is that the law was unconstituional. A voluntary association by consenting adults cannot be denied by the government in regards to property, insurance, taxes etc. To deny consenting adults who wish to share property and other things is to simply defy the very notion of freedom which this country was founded upon.
As to whether the partnership between people of the same sex is MORALLY right is another debate, but LEGALLY the partnership must recognized.

This is going to get even uglier when they try to implement the law. It seems that government can seldom do the right thing whether it be the war in Iraq, Prohibition of the 1920's, or the failing drug war. By the fact that the laws needs another year to allow business to play catch up is a very dire sign, a sign which shows that the law is indeed a train wreck. I hope it is not too late to appeal it, but I think we have already gone down the tubes to far to rebound.
